Ten years ago today
Matthew Shepherd left this life after being beaten and tortured, pistol whipped, and left tied to a fence post for over 12 hours through a 30 degree Wyoming night.
Because he was gay.
It’s good to know, however, that we have holy priests of God actively campaigning to make sure that what happened to Matthew Shepherd can happen again, and that it’s OK.
Life to Gospel, Gospel to life.
Pax et bonum.
(BTW, Jesus ate with prostitutes. It’s a good thing for these priests that Jesus also ate with Pharisees.)
